6 - The Two Witnesses | The Great Controversy

Due to the change in identity, nothing can function properly in people anymore. We think we don't need God's law because we ourselves are the standard. We also believe that God is not necessary because we trust ourselves. And the words of God are unnecessary anyway because we think we can live by ourselves. Since this is not possible, people, animals and Satan take the place of God. We live from their words. If it were not for God's grace, which has found a way out of this situation, we would not exist. Since the heart is closed, his grace gives people a choice through the mind. Each individual is begotten into death and remains in death if they do not accept grace. The deception is so deep that we do not see it. Even believing people have not recognized it. At the same time, they think they have understood salvation.

We are so focused on the other and don't see that our own perception is the problem. The mind must understand the consequences of its thinking on the basis of the effects and recognize that it is thinking in the opposite way to that prescribed by the law of nature. We must recognize the truth in the mind and take action against the lie in the heart. To do this, the spirit must be convinced, because God does not want us to do anything that does not correspond to our convictions. So who are the two witnesses? They represent the law and grace. The law leads to the realization of self-deception and grace frees us from it. The Old and New Testaments of the Bible describe the law and redemption. What this means in detail is the subject of the sixth part of the series “The Great Controversy”.
