We look at the interests of God and Satan in the battle for man. God's goal is to show man his inner self-deception so that he can accept a new life through faith. He stands by him until he is completely free. Illness is one of the means God uses to make people aware of their deception. In contrast, Satan tries by all means to prevent people from recognizing themselves and accepting the new life through faith. He says that illness is only a general consequence of the fall of man, but it is a consequence of his own error of heart. He also invented religion and tries to influence people in such a way that they change something in their lives on the outside, but not in their hearts.
The religious person is therefore not really connected to God. When someone accepts faith, Satan tries to prevent them from freeing themselves from self-deception by keeping them busy with worldly distractions such as work and wealth. If a person's life is not bearing fruit, faith may be there in the background, but they are not progressing in their development. It is important to examine whether our actions are for ourselves or for God. Revelation 13 describes the coming global conflict. It is global because all governments follow the same ideology/religion. There will be a deception that characterizes the image of the beast. What this means is the subject of the eleventh part of the series “The Great Controversy”.
