10 - Rules of Engagement | God's Love and Justice

In Ezekiel 28:12-16, Lucifer is described as a perfect angel who acts against the rational through arrogance and iniquity. He tries to be like God (Isaiah 14:12-14), which is impossible. Similarly, Adam and Eve deceive themselves by believing they can eat from the forbidden tree and still live. These attempts are irrational and contradict God's words.

Evil arose from the attempt to do the impossible. People who want to live independently of God negate the truth of his words. Evil is not a choice of free will. It leads to the loss of individual freedom and to illness. The God-given mind contradicts sin, which is why self-deception can only be recognized and removed through it.

There are no rules in this conflict. It is God's providence that allows this struggle to reveal the inner side of human beings. The battle between good and evil shows that these opposites cannot coexist (Revelation 12:7-8). Job's story proves that even the greatest suffering cannot defeat love (goodness). At the end of time, the group of 144,000 will also show that good triumphs over evil.

Victory belongs to those who use their intellect and love the righteousness of God. The only loser is the one who surrenders to error and did not remove it when he recognized it. These are central themes in the tenth part of the series “God's love and justice”.
