1 - The Beginning of the Gospel | The Gospel of Mark

The Gospel of Mark emphasizes the importance of love as a life-giving element for man, which he receives from God. Since man is dependent on false sources, he lacks vitality. The gospel liberates him and connects him with God and his liberating power through faith. People often talk about their faith without recognizing their inner need.

God's love plays the central role, but this is often neglected. In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul emphasizes the importance of love in the Christian life and shows the way to develop it. There is only one gospel and one way to the goal, as explained in Galatians chapter one. The key lies in looking at the information objectively and practicing charity. Part one of the series “The Gospel of Mark” explains how to study the gospel with this key in order to arrive at a common understanding.
